* We remind you that we strongly recommend that you use the latest version of Google Chrome to work on the learning platform.
Please make sure that the camera is not covered and that it works. For example, you can try starting Skype or any other webcam application and check if you can see yourself.
You can check how the camera works in the browser on this site.
When you first connect to the online room, the browser asks for access to the microphone and camera. You have to grant access to everything.
Make sure that you have permission to use the microphone and camera on the page. (If you accidentally blocked it in the previous step, enable it manually).
Try opening the link to the online room in incognito mode in Google Chrome (Three dots menu in the upper right corner -> "New window in incognito mode").
Make sure that your browser is updated to the latest version.
Go to settings in the Jitsi room and check which camera is selected by default (if you have multiple possible camera devices):
In the settings, on the Devices tab, select the camera from the drop-down list and click Ok.If the previous points do not help, then try downloading the Chromium browser, which has never been installed on a PC, and open an online room. (For Example, Opera, Vivaldi)
Try restarting your PC.
If problems persist after completing all the previous steps, please contact the Algorithmic technical support team.
