First of all, please make sure that you have followed all the recommendations for load optimization in this article.

Especially important are the points about reducing video quality, disabling antivirus software, and disabling additional connection load: torrents, game platforms (steam, origin, etc.).

  • If you have allowed access to the microphone and camera in the online room, but still see this screen:

It is most likely that your antivirus software blocks access to the room. Please disable it by following the instructions
    in this article.

  • If you are using Windows 8 or Windows 8.1 OS, the problem may also be caused by the way online video conferencing services work on this OS in the browser.
In this case, you need to disable camera access for the room and refresh the page. Unfortunately, this is currently the only known solution to the problem on this OS, except for upgrading to Windows 10.

  • It is important to note that video communication in the browser requires a large number of computer resources. If your PC has 4 GB or less of RAM, it is highly recommended not to run any programs during the online lesson, except for the browser and AlgoVsc, if necessary.

  • Make sure that you are using a stable Internet source and that your Internet connection speed meets the requirements.

  • Try opening an online room in incognito mode in Google Chrome (three dots menu in the upper right corner -> "New window in Incognito mode").

  • If the previous points do not help, then try downloading the Chromium browser, which has never been installed on a PC, and open an online room. (For Example, Opera, Vivaldi)

  • Try restarting your PC.

  • If problems persist after completing all the previous steps, please contact the Algorithmic technical support team.
